Robert C. Baker, III
Robert Baker, an associate with Neuberger, Quinn, Gielen, Rubin & Gibber, P.A., represents clients in business and general litigation, including contractual disputes, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, consumer protection and employment class action defense, insurance coverage disputes, partnership disputes, fraud, and business torts. His experience spans from pre-litigation negotiation to trial and appellate practice and he has litigated in federal, state, and arbitration forums.
Robert’s representative achievements include successfully obtaining the dismissal of a TCPA putative class action, procuring the release of deposits in commercial real estate PSA disputes, and securing summary judgment as substitute counsel in an LLC member dispute. Robert’s efforts as substitute counsel contributed to obtaining a stay of enforcement of a judgment, despite five prior denials in both trial and appellate courts. Robert’s contributions to a petition for judicial review of a professional license revocation instigated a favorable settlement, despite a prior adjudication ordering permanent revocation.
Robert earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, graduating cum laude while serving as the executive symposium articles editor of the Maryland Law Review. While in law school, he was a judicial extern for Judge William M. Nickerson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Upon graduation, Robert received the Paul Cordish Writing Award for his scholarship in insurance law. He completed his undergraduate studies at McDaniel College.
